MONDELING 

Je mondeling bestaat uit SPREEKVAARDIGHEID (20%) en UITSPRAAK(5%)

Je leest een tekst voor uitspraak en doet verschillende opdrachten voor je spreekvaardigheid.

 Ik heb ze in de volgende  dia's voor je op een rijtje gezet. 

Reading

* Dit onderdeel duurt ongeveer 2 minuten

* Je krijgt een tekst om voor te bereiden en die je lees je in je beste Engels voor.

 Je vertelt in je eigen woorden waar het boek volgens jou over gaat en beantwoordt een paar vragen hierover.

Dit duurt een paar minuten.

* Je kunt een aantal vragen krijgen om te beantwoorden met argumenten

* Je krijgt verschillende plaatjes te zien waar je over moet praten

* Je krijgt de keuze uit een aantal beweringen/stellingen om te reageren.

Je geeft je mening en geeft aan waarom je er zo over denkt .

En op Zermelo of Magister als je in TW aan de beurt bent.

Last but not least !

* Zorg dat je 5 minuten voor begin van jouw mondeling bij het juiste lokaal staat te wachten. 

* Ben je er niet en ben je niet officieel afgemeld? Dan heb je een 1 en kost het je een herkansing om die 1 weg te werken.

* De mondelingen worden opgenomen 

Important:

• I need to be able to understand you
• Use the right words (appropriate)
• Right grammar (past-present-future)
• No long pauses or Dutch when talking

Tip 1

- when you don't know a word/ can't remember what it's called, describe it!

- what does it look like       (it looks like a(n) . . .

- what does it belong to         (it's a type of . . . animal/ kitchen appliance)

- what is it used for         (you can use it to/ for . . .)

- where can you find it        (it can can be found in/by/ near . . . )

Tip 2

When stuck for what to say . . . ask questions to gain time to think.

Tip 3

Don't ever switch to Dutch! 

Say; "I don't know how to say it in English but in Dutch we say/call..."
