Act 5 Scene 1
2. Gratiano mentions that he has given the ring to the lawyer's clerk, Nerrisa quarrels immediately with Gratiano, Portia is on her side and mentions that he had sworn to never take it off.  Gratiano mentions that Bassanio has also given away his ring and Portia reacts angrily that she will never go to bed with him before she sees the ring again. Portia assumes he gave it to a woman. Bassanio tries to defend himself, but Portia is having none of it. Then Portia gives Antonio the ring which he should give Bassanio and Bassanio immediately recognises it as similar. Finally Portia and Nerissa pull a joke by saying that Portia slept with the lawyer and Nerrissa with the clerk.

Act 5 Scene 1
3. What does Antonio offer as a bond against any future infidelity by Gratiano or Bassanio?
Antonio apologizes and sees himself as the cause of all this trouble and "infidelity." He therefore offers his soul if any future infidelity would happen.  and Interestingly, we first had the flesh in the court scene and now his soul.
He again sacrificises something for Bassanio.
4. At the start of the scene Lorenzo and Jessica have a moment alone where they show their simple affection for eachother which is lacking when it comes to Portia & Bassanio or Nerissa and Gratiano.
