  • I / you / we / they: hele werkwoord
  • he / she / it: hele werkwoord + -s.

  • Ontkenningen: don't of doesn't + hele werkwoord.
  • Vragen: do of does + onderwerp + hele werkwoord. 

  • Bij gewoonte of regelmaat of bij feiten en permanente situaties. 
  • Often, never, always, every weekend, etc.

  • Pers. vnw + am / is / are + (not) + hele werkwoord + -ing
  • Bij vragen komt het pers. vnw na 'am./is/are'

  • Is op dat moment bezig  'right now, at the moment, currently
  •  om irritatie aan te geven 'always, forever, constantly'
