Tybalt and Mercutio get into a fight, which Romeo tries to stop.

Romeo only ends up getting in the way, and Mercutio is killed by Tybalt.

Romeo gets very angry and kills Tybalt. He hides with Friar Lawrence.

The prince banishes Romeo from Verona, which the Friar tells him.

He spends one last night with Juliet before leaving.

Juliet's mother informs her that she has to marry Paris in a few days!

Despite saying no, Juliet's mom says she has to marry Paris. Juliet's nurse agrees.

Juliet turns to the Friar for help, who gives her a sleeping potion to make it seem like she died. This way she won't have to marry Paris.

The Friar promises to tell Romeo so he won't think Juliet died.

Juliet takes the fake poison a night before her wedding, and "dies." By doing. this, she avoids the wedding and stays loyal to Romeo.

Romeo's cousin finds out and immediately tells Romeo, who never heard about the plan. He now thinks Juliet is dead and is heartbroken!

Romeo goes to Juliet's tomb, and drinks poison so they can be together in death.

Juliet wakes up moments after Romeo takes the poison. In her grief, she stabs herself with Romeo's dagger, and the two star-crossed lovers die together.

The Montague's and the Capulets find out what happened, and stop their fighting.

Romeo and Juliet's deaths have brought the two families together.
