3. When was the last time you ate at a restaurant?
4. What did you order?

when you think about 'restaurants'?

Questions regarding the video

1. What sort of language were they using? Formal/informal.
2. What words are used for ordering the food?
   
3. What words are used to take the order?
4. What would you have said while ordering?
   

Exercise 1

1. Read the dialogue aloud with a partner two times.

Student 1: the customer

Student 2: the waiter

Switch roles when finished.

2. Read the dialogue again, replacing the underlined words.

Tip: Use food or drinks you would have liked to order.

The presentations

In pairs, you are going to create an authentic restaurant experience.

 

• The presentations will be graded:
  ''O'' or ''V''.
  
  
• Each student will create their own menu. Work together in order to play both roles.
