Slide 9 - Mind map

Dehydration
Dehydration happens when you are not taking in enough fluids but still expending the current fluids you have in your body. This will mean your body will not be able to carry out its normal functions. We might lose fluid through sweating, urination, vomiting, and diarrhea.

Slide 10 - Slide

There are several ways to tell if someone is dehydrated, such as;

- Increased thirst.
- Dry mouth and skin.
- Dark-colored urine.
- Decreased urination.
- Fatigue.
- Dizziness or lightheadedness.
- Headaches.
- Confusion or fainting, in some serious cases.

It is important to keep on top of our fluids so we do not become dehydrated.
