Salut ! (with or without a name after "salut")
Bonjour !  (with or without a name after "bonjour")
Coucou !  (with or without a name after "coucou")
Cher  / Chère /  ... (you must add a name)

For an email about your vacation, you must
  • talk about which country you visited--> you will use the right preposition: en / au / aux
  • talk about what you've done, seen, eaten --> you will use passé composé
  • give a positive or negative opinion
  • talk about the weather --> you will use structures "il fait beau", "il fait mauvais", "il fait chaud", "il fait froid"
  • talk about means of transport--> you will use the right preposition: en or

Checklist
  • The verbes are in the right tense
  • I've checked the verbs in passé composé : être ou avoir, agreement rule
  • I've checked that if the subject is singular, the verb is singular / if the subject is plural, the verb is plural
  • I've used the Internet to look for some words, not to copy whole sentences
