What are Coordinates?

Coordinates are a set of values that show an exact position on a grid. They are written as (x, y).

Reading Coordinates

Coordinates are read as (x, y). First, move along the x-axis, then move along the y-axis.

Plotting Points on a Grid

To plot a point, start at the origin, move along the x-axis, then the y-axis.
