TMN - Problems with Gradework?

If problems occur in Gradework when submitting the products, follow these steps.

 

- Make a screenshot of the technical problems that occur.

- Mail the screenshot as well as the documents you are trying to submit to [e-mail].

- Do this before or no later than 15 minutes after the deadline.

If you have any other questions about Gradework, please contact [e-mail]. We will help you as soon as possible.

Students have already received an email about this.

This Gradework information is also covered in the Learning Coach sessions.

However, it bears repeating in our English lesson.

The products written beneath (including the links to the audio and video recordings) will be included in a portfolio.

For this you use the results of the formative assignments:

1. Find 2 articles (max. 2 pages each) in English about tourism in Rotterdam, Haarlem or Amsterdam.

2. Write 2 summaries in English of your 2 articles in 250 words each

3. Create at least 6 relevant critical questions for your conversation.

4. Make an audio recording of the conversation.

5. Make a short video of 3 minutes in English in which you include your personal opinion and impressions of the city.

6. Write the final summative article of 500 words with a margin of 10%.

Students are going to fill in the portfolio template with the formative assignments and the final summative assignment

6. Finally, process all of the above into writing the final summative article. This article must have 500 words with a margin of 10%.

The unusual use of  the words  Man Bites Dog helps to capture the attention of the audience.

It is unusual because it goes against the grain of what we normally expect.  Namely, Dog Bites Man.

Peer-evaluation

1. Go to the Moodle term 1.1. Find the folder English.

2.. Find the self-evaluation (feedback) form. (in your English syllabus)

4.  Download it onto your computer/device.

5. Fill it in for your peers (fellow students).

6. Be critical.

7. Take 20 minutes.
