Long, deep and narrow depression in the ocean floor. 

Trench = Deep and narrow gap on the ocean floor.        Formed by the subduction process.

Mid-oceanic ridge

Divergent plate movement in the ocean.

Subduction forms volcanoes

Subduction: When the heavy oceanic plate, dives under the light continental plate. 

*Subduction happens when a continental and oceanic plate are in a convergent movement.
