Walk in task
Open up Dreamweaver
  1. Choose colour scheme for Dreamweaver
  2. Click the button that says "I have used Dreamweaver before"
  3. Choose "Standard mode"
  4. Set up your website folder - Go to "Site" on the top bar > New Site > Browse to your website folder (not your Asset folder)
  5. Setup your properties window - Go to "Windows" on the top bar > "Properties" and drag the properties window to the bottom of the screen

Task - Create a website
You are going to create a website using Dreamweaver. Wix is a WYSIWYG editor, that allows you to make website without needing to fully code in HTML and CSS.

You are creating a website for Vicars Water - there is a reminder of the brief on the next slide....
Scenario – Vicars Water Tourist Attraction
You have been asked by Newark & Sherwood council to rebrand Vicars Water and to develop a new website.
The council want to encourage more tourists to visit the attraction.

Brand should look professional and attract visitors to the location.

You need to choose a suitable font, a suitable colour scheme, create a logo and develop a website to advertise the location.
Website should include information about the attractions, facilities, special events, parking and how to get there.
