The NHS Hillingdon campaign to raise awareness of bowel cancer symptoms among the Asian community her outcomes for the session were that:

  • Learners would be able to identify the targeted interventions (e.g. multilingual leaflets, community workshops, radio campaigns) than can support equal access to health information.

  • Learners would be able to explain how equality data was used to identify disparities in cancer awareness and outcomes.


She decided to end her session with a Kahoot would this be suitable? If so why? If not why not and what else could she have done?

Case Study one

Sam designed a lesson on:

Macro nutrients for his Sports Nutrition Unit his outcomes were

  • Learners would be able to identify the main macronutrients needed by an athlete

  • Learners would be able to explain the role of macronutrients in the body

  • Learners would be able to analyse an athletes diet

He decided to end his session to ask students as his ‘Exit ticket’ to complete a worksheet asking them to highlight the main macronutrients from a list, write 50 words on the role of macro nutrients in the body and to review a diet suggesting areas for improvement.
