Wat is het verschil tussen 'quick' & 'quickly'
1. He quickly scored the goal after which he celebrated.
2. He made the quick decision to call his friend.

Nog even wat extra uitleg..

Als je wat wilt zeggen over een zelfstandig naamwoord (dat heet een bijvoeglijk naamwoord), dan laat je dat woord staan. Je geeft antwoord op de vraag: "Wat voor soort.. persoon, dier, etc."

1. He is a nice person.   - that person is nice. 

2. That is a quiet mouse. - The mouse is quiet. 

3. It was an easy test.       - The test is easy. 

Als je wat wilt zeggen over 'hoe' iets gebeurt zet je een -ly achter het woord... Dat heet een 'bijwoord'. 

1. That person nicely asked me how I felt. 

2. The mouse quietly sneaked past the sleeping cat. 

3. He easily finished the test.  (easy -> easily)  

4. The door opened automatically. (automatic -> automatically)

Let op! 

1.a) It was a quiet mouse. 

1.b) It was an extremely quiet mouse (hoe 'stil'? -> extreem stil) 

2a). He works precisely. 

2b). He works extremely precisely (hoe 'precies'? -> extreem precies). 

That man is _______(incredible) lazy.

1. incredible
2. incredibly

Last night we went to the latest James Bond film. It was the __________(1.last) film which starred Daniel Craig. He played_______(2. absolute) fantastically in my opinion. He couldn't have done a better job portraying the spy. His acting was very convincing. He is ______________(3. terrible) underrated in my opinion.
