Ellen MacArthur grew up loving boats and sailing.
She started her first solo adventure as a teenager, dreaming of sailing around the world.
Breaking World Records
In February 2005, at the age of 28 Ellen sailed solo around the world in 71 days, breaking the world record.
Her journey was 26, 000 miles long!
She faced extreme weather, tough seas, and lots of challenges alone.

He was the first person in history to successfully complete a solo global circumnavigation before reaching the age of 18.
