Example 1
This summer I went on holiday twice. First, I went to one of the Canary Islands with my parents and sisters. We visited many different towns and went swimming in the ocean. The island is so beautiful, I wish I could live there. A couple of weeks later, I went to France with some friends. This was the first time I have ever slept in a tent. It was pretty cool, but I prefer a normal bed.

School is starting soon, and I’m looking forward to seeing my friends again. I’m not looking forward to all of the homework and tests. I’d rather have more weeks of summer holiday. What did you do this summer?

Bye.
