Video exercise

You are going to make a video (  in groups) for Finnish students! Make groups and I will call you to watch a video to which you are going to reply.

Tell them:
- your names and ages
- something about your school and education
- give them a tour of the school
- tell something about a traditional Dutch dish, use pictures or examples

You will all receive an envelope with the exercise.
You will have ten minutes to finish this exercise

hotel vocab

Listening exercise

We are now going to watch a video about Claridges, a five-star hotel in London.

While listening write down as many adjectives or adverbs (bijvoegelijke naamwoorden) that you hear that typically belong in a hotel vocabulary list.

For example: wonderful, luxury, differently etc.

Writing exercise

You are now all going to write a short informative text about a hotel, it can be Claridges but you may also choose another hotel. The text should be like an advertisement/brochure, so sell the hotel!

Your text should also be informative; so write down facts about the hotel. You should use at least 8 words from the previous exercises.

Make sure to write this text nicely and correctly. So use headings and make use of paragraphs.
