Slide 6 - Slide

The caste system is a system in which society has been divided in several groups (castes)
The castes decide what type of job you may have, with whom you may hang out, with whom you may marry etc.
The caste you are in is based on birth (you inherit the caste of your parents)
Hindus believe that when you live a good life, you can be reborn in a higher caste
(reincarnation)
Inequality

Most Indians just accept the culture of the caste system as it is. Most people preceive it as a part of life and rarely complain about it.

So, in India inequality is percieved as one of the most normal things in the world!!!
