Subject pronouns
Rules:
1. Replace the subject in a sentence.
2. Always stand before the verb.

Example:
He lives in Amsterdam.                           He= subject pronoun
We sing a song.                                           We= subject pronoun

Object pronouns
Rules:
1. Replace the object in a sentence.
2. Always stand after verbs.
He calls her every day.                                                      He= subject - her=object
I don't like it.                                                                           I= subject - it= object

3. Always stand after prepositions.
Please listen to him.                                                          to=preposition - him= object
Wait for us.                                                                             for= preposition - us= object

possessive = shows possession

determiner = shows who possesses something

Rules:
1. Possessive determiners never stand on their own.
2. Possessive determiners are always used with a noun.

Example:
My shoes are red.                                        My= pos. det. - shoes=noun
Her eyes are green.                                     Her= ps. det.  - eyes= noun
