Describing feelings helps us understand ourselves and communicate with others. It builds empathy and connections.

Words like joyful, cheerful, and excited describe happy feelings. Can you think of more?

Sad feelings can be described with words like lonely, upset, and disappointed. What other words can you think of?
Describing Feelings Activity
Describe a feeling you had recently. Use at least two words from the lists we made.
