When do you use tag questions?

A tag question is a short question that you use to ask for confirmation.

Example: you're not coming with us to the cinema, are you?

How do you make a tag question?

• You're coming to the party, aren't you?
  
• Zoek het werkwoord -> bepaal of de zin positief of negatief is -> gebruik een voornaamwoord voor het onderwerp.
• Let's practice together: Susan is a great artist, ...

Tag questions

• Als de hoofdzin negatief(-) is dan wordt de tag question postief(+)
  
• Example: You're not coming to the party, are you?
  
• Als de hoofdzin positief(+) is dan wordt de tag question negatief(-)
  
• Example: You're coming to the party, aren't you?
  

She is coming to the wedding, ...

They have finished, ...
