Crossword activity Personality adjectives
• In  pairs, ideally face to face, Make sure that you can’t see each other’s worksheets.  A and B have the same crossword, but with different words missing. You have to define words to each other to complete your crosswords.
• You have a minute to read their instructions. If  you don’t know what a word means,  look it up in Vocabulary Bank Personality p.153 IMPORTANT:  the difference between across and down. Remember  don't use any part of the word in your definition.
• Take turns to ask each other for their missing words (e.g. What’s 1 down? What’s 3 across?). Your partner must define / describe the word until you are able to write it in your crossword. Help each other with clues if necessary.
• When you have finished, compare  your crosswords to make sure you have the same words and have spelled them correctly.
