Get inspired by professional content creators

At LessonUp, we believe in working together to provide the best education. That's why you can find and edit lessons created by others. In this course, we'll explain more about lessons from professional content creators. What kind of organisations can I find lessons from and what are the lessons generally about?

content creators

Organisations and agencies can host their lessons on their own channel in LessonUp. Think of educational and cultural organisations, such as the Van Gogh Museum.

The Van Gogh Museum creates lessons suitable for primary education and secondary education for the subjects Dutch, History or Art and Design. The lessons can serve as preparation for a visit to the museum. Anoher example is Sea Shephard. They create lessons about ocean pollution and other topics. They provide a kit of materials, including presentations, teacher’s guides and activities to enhance learning. As a teacher, you can use these lessons free of charge.

when to use those lessons?

Not all topics you want to discuss with your students are covered in your textbook. Think of current events or topics that fall outside the curriculum. You can use lessons from content creators to cover these topics.

Find lessons in the lesson library or go to the channel page on LessonUp. Once you've found a suitable lesson, you can save it to your own LessonUp account. A copy of the original lesson will be made. You can edit the lesson to your needs or share it with your students directly (in class or as homework).
