Welcome to the lesson! Hope you and your learners enjoy it. Most of the lesson is self explanatory but look out for a tip for slide 6!

If you had £10,000 to fix one thing in your community, what would it be?

Campaigned against child food poverty.

'Stop GCSE/A-Level Algorithm' Protest (2020)

During the pandemic, an algorithm reduced UK students' predicted grades based on school history, not individual work.

Students protested using #freethegrades, leading to the government allowing teacher-assessed grades.

Mya-Rose Craig ("Birdgirl")

At 14, she started 'Camp Avalon' for VME youth and earned an honorary doctorate for her work. She influenced UK charities to focus on equal access to nature, broadening the conversation beyond just conservation.
