What revision strategies have you tried before?
Teach someone else
Sometimes the best way for us to ensure we understand something, is to try and teach it to someone else!
Ask your teacher! Their knowledge is only as good as it is because they are practiced in teaching it. It's very simple and gives some purpose to revising as a group.
How confident would you be teaching what we did last term
to someone else?
Watch Videos
There are thousands of useful videos online that will be able to help you with your subject knowledge. Dedicate some of your usual screen time to making a productive choice.
YouTube is a great place to start, but I'm sure your teacher has some recommendations for you...

Got any good channels to recommend for us to use for revision?
Mind Maps
Mind maps are a visual way to help you see what bits of knowledge are related to each other. Pick a topic, then link all the sub-topics to it, then the smaller bits of knowledge. Once you get experienced, you'll be able to start linking different themes or concepts in a supersized mind map! You can add sketches too...
This one maybe a bit too big for revision...
Past Papers
Although they can be a bit tedious... What better way to practice for an exam, and see what knowledge you might be missing is there than actually doing an old exam paper?
There are loads online, but your teacher should have a bank of them to keep you going. Why not do it with friends so you can support each other through it?
Have a break!
This one always confuses people but it's really important!
As long as you are actually revising, then having well structured breaks is important to ensure you are taking the information in. Try having 5 minutes off for every 25 you work and see if it helps your focus levels?
Have a break!
Let's try a 2 minute breathing exercise and see how we feel, close your eyes, don't speak and just 'be'...

Flashcards
Flashcards are a great way to make your own quiz style questions. Use one side to pose a question, key word or concept and put the answer or information you need to remember on the reverse. Once you have got one correct move it into a pile you look at once a week, then once a fortnight - eventually all your cards should be in the last pile and your knowledge more secure!

Using flashcards regularly
Only reading notes once
Skipping breaks while studying
Sleeping during revision
Which method helps in understanding concepts?

Avoiding practice exams
Summarising information in your own words
What should be included in a revision timetable?
Balanced subjects and breaks

No time for relaxation
