• You know the difference between using will, be going to and  the present simple form and present continuous form for the future

Will 

* to talk about quick decisions about what to do next

* for spontaneous offers

* to talk about things we expect to happen or things we predict will happen.

> My sister won't tell anyone.

> I will carry your books for you.

be going to

* To talk about future plans  and things we intend to do.

* To talk about things we predict based on what we can see, or something that we think is certain to happen.

> I am going to watch the match on TV.

> Look at the dark clouds. I think it's going to rain!

Note that for decisions at the time of speaking-- dus die niet vooraf al besloten zijn-- we use will.

Present continuous form

To talk about arrangements or plans which have already been made.

> I'm starting a new course tomorrow. 

Present Simple form

To talk about facts and fixed/planned events (timetables).

> The match starts at 3.30 p.m. Don't miss it!
