Translation of the sentence
"I am invited to his party." is:

1. Ik ben uitgenodigd voor zijn feestje.
2. Ik wordt uitgenodigd voor zijn feestje.
3. Ik nodig hem uit voor mijn feestje.

What makes a sentence passive?

The combination of 'to be' + past participle (volt. dlw) makes a sentence passive

The woman is bitten (by the dog).

The wound was stitched (by the doctor).

Present Simple Passive:

am/are/is + voltooid deelwoord

Active:

A lot of people speak English.

Passive:

English is spoken by a lot of people.

Past Simple Passive:

  

was/were + voltooid deelwoord

Active:

Rosa ate all the cookies.

Passive:

All the cookies were eaten by Rosa.

Boys like to play soccer.
