Narrative tenses - past, present & future

Write your story using the correct tense:

Past simple  (he walked, they ate)

Past continuous (he was walking, they were eating)

Past perfect (he had walked, they had eaten)

Present perfect continuous (he had been walking)

NB: Present tense can only be used in direct speech!

What is the climax in a short story?
