The Black Plague ('De Zwarte Dood' or 'De Pest')

The Black Death or Plague happened in the Middle Ages (de middeleeuwen). What do you know about this time?

The Plague or Black Death

- between 1347 and 1351

- millions of people died

- very contagious disease (besmettelijke ziekte)

- probably spread by fleas (waarschijnlijk verspreid door vlooien)
