What is the future?

Future tense 

• Je vertelt over een planning die nog niet vast staat.
• am/are/is + going to + hele werkwoord =
• I am going to give a speech.
• We are going to decorate the house.
• He is going to bake a cake.

Future tense 

aanbieden / beloven of een voorspelling doen.

• Will + hele werkwoord
• I will make you some soup.
• We will help you with the presentation.
• It will rain next week.

Om aan te geven dat je van plan bent iets te doen en je hebt vaste plannen gemaakt.

Om aan te geven dat iets volgens een schema of rooster verloopt gebruik je..

1. The train will be leaving.
2. The train is going to leave.

Om iets aan te bieden, iets te beloven of een voorspelling te maken gebruik je..
