  • Adjectives say someting about a noun
       Placed before the noun
                                         "The green dragon" / "the cute dog"
  • Placed after verbs as: to be, to seem, to appear, to look, to taste, to smell, to feel

       Placed after the verb
                                       "she sings beautifully" / "he speaks honestly"
  • Add "-ly" to an adjective make an adverb
