Example:

Pay attention!

• Als twee handelingen na elkaar plaatsvinden, gebruik je twee keer de past simple. 
• Als twee handelingen tegelijkertijd plaatsvinden, gebruik je twee keer de past continuous.
• Als de ene handeling de ander onderbrak, gebruik je de past simple en de past continuous.
