When the relative clause already has a subject we can drop the relative pronoun.
  • There's something (that) you should know.

A non-defining relative clause
A non-defining relative clause gives extra, non-essential information. Even if we leave it out, the whole sentence is still clear. 
  • Jack committed his crimes in London, which is the capital of England

In non-defining relative clauses we cannot use the relative pronoun that.
  • Polly Nichols, who was a prostitute, was murdered in 1888.
