De present continuous is  een tegewoordige tijd.

Wanneer gebruik je de present continuous?

Je gebruikt de present continous als iets nu gebeurt.

We gebruiken de present contiNUous wanneer we het hebben over NU.

Ik ben nu aan het werk+en.

I am work+ing now.

• Eindigt een werkwoord op een 'e' die je niet hoort? e weg!

Ride --> riding

• Laatste letter dubbel als een werkwoord 1 lettergreep heeft met 1 korte klinker (sit, run, swim, etc.)

Sit --> sitting
Run --> running
