The 25 point programme

- Published in February 1920 

- In the 25-point program, Nazi Party members publicly declared their intention to segregate Jews from "Aryan" society and to abrogate Jews' political, legal, and civil rights.

- Hitler explained these ideas during many beerhall speeches and gained popularity.

Carefully read the 25 point programme of the NSDAP, and then read Hitler's Munich Trials speech. 

Connect the two; where in the speech does Hitler mention points 1-4, explain what he says and what point this connects to.

The popularity of 'Mein Kampf'

- Published in July 18, 1925

- The book was the blueprint of Hitler's agenda but it was not until 1933, the first year of Hitler’s tenure as chancellor of Germany, that sales soared to over 1 million

- People were curious and intrigued by Hitler's approach to recovering Germany and replacing it by his 'Third Reich'

- By 1939 it had sold 5,200,000 copies and had been translated into 11 languages

Hitler believed in German racial superiority and therefor sought for more 'Lebensraum'.
