About the poet 
Heidi A. Campbell (born 26 August 1970) is a professor of communications at Texas A&M University. She is known for her work in digital religion, and studies related to religion and new media.
Campbell was appointed assistant professor of communications in the Department of Community at Texas A&M in 2005, and became full professor in 2018.

Central Idea 
The poet through the poem emphasizes how one feels in the company of nature. She suggested a number of activities to be carried out by humans to enjoy Nature at its best. She tries to convince the readers to smell the flowers and climb the tallest willow. The author uses the 5 senses to describe nature to the readers. Using the 5 senses in writing creates a clearer picture and makes the readers feel a part of the setting.

In the entire poem, nature has been personified as a woman.
