Tracey’s class took photographs for the year book with the school’s digital camera. Tracey knows
a program that she uses to change the photographs. She made herself the tallest girl in the class and
she made a boy she doesn’t like look fat.

Brian asks his teacher for permission to go to the computer room to work on his science project.
The teacher agrees. Brian uses the computer to check the basketball results and watch a music video.

Greg tells people on his electronic mailing list that he is studying to be a doctor and that he is
twenty years old. In fact he is twelve. He now gets messages from people asking him about their
medical problems.

Sabrina finds some useful information on the Internet for her social studies project. She uses
‘copy’ to take a complete paragraph and pastes it directly into her project. She does not write down
the title of the website where she found the information.

Sally borrows Gina’s computer game disks and installs them on her home computer. She says she
will delete the game if she doesn’t like it. She will buy the game for herself if she likes it.
