Which exercises should we discuss on the board?

Slide 1 - Woordweb

Overview CH6
- You know what the short sides and what the hypotenuse is in a right-angled triangle.
- You can make sketches.
- You can use Pythagoras' theorem to calculate the third side in a right-angled triangle when you know two sides.
- You can give exact answers.
- You can use Pythagoras' theorem in stories and round your answer sensibly.
- You can use Pythagoras' theorem in cuboids and pyramids
- You can use Pythgoras' theorem to calculate if a triangle with 3 given sides is right-angled, actuce angled or obtuse angled.

Slide 2 - Tekstslide

Shorter sides & hypotenus
All right-angled triangles have 2 shorter sides and 1 hypotenuse.

The hypotenuse is the longest side and always lies opposite the right angle.
The shorter sides are (as the name suggests)
shorter than the hypotenus and always lie
on either side of the right angle.
