Could
Past Ability: "Could" is often used to talk about past ability. For example, "When I was younger, I could run very fast."
Polite Requests: It is used to make polite requests. For example, "Could you please pass me the salt?" It's considered more polite than using "can" for requests.
Possibility: "Could" can be used to express a possibility, especially in hypothetical or conditional situations. For example, "If he studied more, he could pass the exam."
