Past simple vs. Present perfect
Past simple:
  • Gebeurtenis in het verleden die voorbij is.
→ signaalwoord in de zin zoals: yesterday, this morning, etc.
Present perfect:
  • Gebeurtenis in het verleden begonnen en nu nog bezig.
  • Gebeurtenis in het verleden, met een resultaat dat nu nog merkbaar is.
