What does a police officer do? 

Their job is to enforce the law.

They do this in many different ways, by patrolling the streets, getting to know the people who live in the town, helping people who have accidents, directing traffic to avoid accidents and more.

What does a firefighter do? 

A firefighter is a community helper who protects people from fire and keeps them safe. Firefighters

work for the fire department and can help us in many ways by putting out fires, teaching people to

prevent fires, rescuing people from fires, and responding to medical emergencies

What does an EMT do?

Emergency medical technicians (EMTs) are the people who come when someone needs emergency medical attention. This can be if someone is injured, sick, has had a heart attack, or many other conditions. Their duties can include performing lifesaving measures, such as CPR.

What does a military soldier do? 

A soldier in the military protects and defends our country from the land, sea, and airspace foreign invasions. A soldier has a difficult job and needs to be in shape both physically and mentally. 

What does a lifeguard do? 

A lifeguard is a person on the beach or at a public pool who educates patrons in the correct way of using the water facility and prevents accidents from happening. They are trained in rescue situations.
