Look at the following sites.  In terms of their design (NOT content) do you think they are good or bad?

You must use:
  • Appropriate and effective Typography (the fonts)
  • Suitable colour schemes (think about branding)
  • simple and effective navigation
  • appropriate use of any animation and imagery

  2. Navigation (to move around the site)
  3. Content (consists of text, images, video and links)

Audience
The two scenarios have very different target audiences
Have a think who your audience is for a moment and what styles, colours fonts and images you think will be appropriate for that audience

TASK 1
Create the home page:
  • Welcomes customer ( its the landing page or front door)
  • Is a navigation hub to other pages
  • Introduces the brand/company
  • Eye catching and appealing

Useful tips
  • Use Canva "elements" to find almost everything you need
  • Use pixabay or pexels to source things you cannot get in canva
  • Use Canva to make banner elements if you are not using starter templates
  •  Stay consistent and remember your audience!
