The Netherlands is very good in agriculture.
what problems does that cause?

Slide 2 - Open vraag

Problems
- Nitrogen problems due to the use of manure
- Too much land use for agriculture (67%!)
- More drones and robots cause people to move away from the countryside -> resulting in population shrinkage in agriculture resulting in bad quality of life.

Slide 3 - Tekstslide

Door re-urbanisatie.....
When residents, farms and facilities disappear from the countryside, space is created.

The question is: how do you set it up?
3 options

Slide 4 - Tekstslide

Option 1: distribution policy
  • Fewer residents, farms and facilities in the countryside.
  • More empty space to solve the housing shortage
  • Moving homes to the cities

Suburbanization or decentralization -> spread homes, jobs and amenities more evenly across the country.
