• Your teacher will assign you one of these stores :

        DEPARTMENT STORE - warenhuis

        SUPERMARKET - supermarkt

        STREET MARKET  - de markt

        SHOPPING CENTRE / MALL - winkelcentrum

        BAKER'S / BAKERY - bakker

        BOOKSHOP - boekenwinkel

        BUTCHER'S - slager

        CHEMIST'S / PHARMACY - apotheek (OR another shop)!

• Write about a conversation you have with a salesperson.       You have 3 problems:

      1. There is something you cannot find.

      2. You want a certain amount of something.

      3. You tell the salesperson why you like or don't like the                       product he/she is selling.

Use your imagination writing your conversation! You may add things to make it a fun conversation.

    Writing assignment

• Work in pairs or on your own!
• The easiest way is to write the conversation in Dutch and translate it into English!
• You have 3 problems:

      1. There is something you cannot find.

      2. You want a certain amount of something.

      3. You tell the salesperson why you like or                 don't like the product he/she is selling.

      4. You may add things to spice up your 

           conversation.

      5. Hand in your conversation!
