situation 

There will be a new and progressive cabinet after the elections. 

You are a well-studied economist and the new minister challenged you to make a fair income/ commodity tax with respect to introduce a fat tax! 

assignment 

What would your legislation / advice to the minister. Discuss the following issues: 

1. what will the tax do with the poor and rich people? 

2. what does the government reach with this tax? 

3. develop good/ bad arguments for using fat taxes

now (20 minuten)

--> random groups in  breakout-rooms in Teams! 

--> develop a strategy/ legislation for the minister (10 minutes)

--> work together and make notes.

--> use the souces and develop good economic arguments. 

--> work it out in word/ or in writings
