Objective: you will practice using the phrasal verbs in sentences to demonstrate your understanding of their meanings and usage.
1. Choose five of the phrasal verbs from the list in your book. 
2. Write a sentence for each of the five phrasal verbs you selected. Use the phrasal verb in a context that clearly illustrates its meaning. Be sure to use proper grammar and punctuation.
3. Provide a brief explanation of the meaning of each phrasal verb you used in your sentences.

Example: Phrasal Verb: give up Sentence: After years of trying to quit smoking, John finally decided to give up.
Meaning: "Give up" means to quit or stop doing something, usually because it's difficult or not worthwhile.
