Je weet wat de past continuous is, hoe je deze maakt en toepast.

The past continous 

Je gebruikt de 'past continuous' als je wilt zeggen dat iets aan de gang was in de verleden tijd (vandaar 'continuous')

Always, never, often, usually, sometimes: geven aan hoe vaak iets voorkomt.

1. Vóór het hoofdwerkwoord.
   

        He never comes home late. She always eats apples on Sundays.

Adverbs of Manner

Adverb of manner: very, really, incredibly, terribly: geven aan hoe iets gebeurt.

1. Vóór het woord waar ze iets van zeggen bij een bijvoeglijk naamwoord of bijwoord. 

       He is very friendly. This is really nice.

   2. Eind van de zin. Bij een werkwoord.

       He sang the  song terribly.

       Nooit tussen het werkwoord en het onderwerp!
