Hoe maak je de past continuous ook alweer?

Om de past continuous te maken heb je altijd 2 werkwoorden nodig, namelijk een vervoeging van to be (was of were) + werkwoord met -ing erachter.

Dus: I was playing with her.

Als je WHEN/WHILE in de zin hebt staan staat er een past simple en een past continuous in de zin.

De past simple is een moment en kort.. WHEN she arrived.
