What are Irregular Verbs?

Irregular verbs do not follow the regular pattern of adding -ed to the base form to create the past tense. Instead, they have their own unique past tense forms.

Define irregular verbs and explain to the students how they differ from regular verbs.

Examples of irregular verbs include: go-went, eat-ate, have-had.
