7.1 Fielding Using a Glove

Station 2 - Fielding using a Glove 

Step 1 : You will need 

• 5 x Gloves 
• 5 x Balls 
• 4 x Bases 

Step 2: Set up / Allocate 

• Place bases as per field set up 15-20m between each.
  
• 1 student will stand on Home base and perform a Overarm Throw or Crow Step.
  
• The 4 remaining students will position themselves in the out field. 

Step 3:  Commence Play 

• Student on the home base must throw the ball into play and commence running to each base. 
• Fielders must work together as a team to retrieve the ball and either tag runner or beat runner to a base. 

If the runner gets out they must rotate positions or after 2 successful plays.
