Future tenses

Be Going To: 

• een voornemen in de toekomst (iets besloten en gaat het uitvoeren) / een voorspelling gebaseerd op aanwijzingen

I am going to practise every day.

Will: 

• neutrale toekomst: iets dat sowieso gaat gebeuren / spontane beslissing (op het moment van spreken) / menen, hopen, denken of iets aannemen over de toekomst.

I will water your plants next week.

Future tenses

Present Simple: 

• als iets vaststaat om te gebeuren in de toekomst (rooster/schema).

Our flight arrives at a quarter past seven.

Present Continuous: 

• een afspraak in de nabije toekomst (voorbereiding en organisatie heeft al plaatsgevonden)

We are meeting up next week.
